«KALDCS Holding», a company specializing in the development and manufacturing of defense products headquartered in Abu Dhabi, and «Airbus» announced the signing of an agreement to establish a local center for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of «A400M aircraft» in the United Arab Emirates. The agreement was signed by the Managing Director and CEO of «KALDCS Holding», Dr. Khalifa Murad Al Balushi, and Head of the «A400M aircraft» program, Gerd Weber, on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow, which runs until tomorrow. The new center, dedicated to the «A400M aircraft», will create advanced maintenance infrastructure in the UAE, enabling technology transfer, training, and engineering support to build long-term capabilities. At the same time, the project will contribute to training a cadre of Emirati engineers and technicians, which will enhance efforts in localization and workforce development, and drive the localization of supply chains by adopting local suppliers in the UAE. Al Balushi said: «This agreement reflects our commitment to building national capabilities and contributing to the development of the aviation sector in the UAE, in line with the wise vision of our leadership to develop national defense industries.
